FUNDRAISERS Quest sponsors three major fundraisers during the year and one summer fundraiser. These fundraisers help support the cost of the youth program throughout the year and helps offset the cost of the summer trip for the youth. The fundraisers are a lot of fun for everyone who attends.
This summer the youth participated in the church-wide rummage sale and the previous summer they sponsored a car wash with build-your-own ice cream sundaes.
Each fall we host a dinner and a show put on by the youth. Last year we hosted the UPC Western Jamboree which featured a chili dinner and western themed skits. You can watch video of the Western Jamboree below.
In January the youth host a create-your-own pasta dinner. Last January the youth put on a talent show featuring skits, musical performances, and dance performances. This January the youth will put on a classic game night. Youth will be hosting different tables with different games like Monopoly, Yahtzee, Chutes and Ladders, Go Fish, and much more. This is a great night for people of all ages to eat a great meal and enjoy some classic games with friends and family while getting to know some of our youth.
Each spring the youth host a Brinner and Trivia Night. We cook breakfast for dinner and teams compete in trivia competition for prizes. Several great door prizes are given away throughout the evening as well. UPC Western Jamboree 2010 Part 1
