Miracle Plays, focusing on representing biblical stories, were among the earliest formally developed plays in medieval Europe. Drama in church has evolved quite a bit over the centuries and United Presbyterian Church is proud to be a community that embraces this age-old means of delivering a Christ-centered message. Our talented actors and directors allow the congregation and surrounding community to experience the power of worship through theater in a variety of ways. From skits during worship to madrigal dinners and special events, United Presbyterian Church continues and improves upon a tradition with ancient roots.
This year's children's musical production was "The Big, Big Story". The children performed their show on December 13th at the 10:30 service. A special thank you to all the children and parents who helped with the show and especially to Stephanie Randall and Mary Ortiz for all the work they put into to make this year's show great. DVD's of the production can be ordered in the church office for $5.
Come join us on December 19 and 20 for a wonderful evening of drama, music, and food.
