| Mission isn't just a committee at UPC, it is who we are. We make sure mission giving is at least 10% of our budget and we donate funds to several local and international organizations and missionaries. Mission, however, is not just writing checks. We believe in putting our faith into action. Our whole congregation participates in mission projects by going on trips, having work days at local mission organizations, or by doing things in the church for others like making blankets, cookies, and cards. We host several groups at UPC like OSF's bereavement groups through which over 900 have received bereavement support. We also open our facilities up to local youth basketball teams, Boy Scouts, and other organizations that need a place to meet. We are always looking for ways we can serve others locally, nationally, and globally. We would love to partner with you in bringing hope in the name of Jesus Christ. | |
