Connecting Point Study
Each Wednesday Night, September-April, an adult class is offered on Wednesday night during Connecting Point. The class is from 6:30-7:30 but you are invited to join us for dinner at 5:30. Rev. McKinney-Whitaker is leading the Connecting Point adult during Lent on the last week of Jesus. Each week we will look at one of the days of Jesus’ last week in Jerusalem according to the Gospel of Mark. We are using the book The Last Week by Marcus Borg and John Dominic Crossan. |

Music For Life: You Can Sing Too!
Do you love music? Maybe you’ve sung your whole life. Maybe you’ve been told you can’t carry a tune. Whatever your experience in singing, this class is for you! The first class in our new “Music for Life” series, “You Can Sing Too”, will teach proper vocal technique and fun facts about vocal music in a safe, supportive, engaging, and fun class environment. “You Can Sing Too” will meet on Thursday nights starting in September. Students will receive a songbook/textbook. It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned choir member or a sometime shower songster you will learn from this class. Whether you need help with hitting the high notes or just to carry a tune at all, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise; You Can Sing Too!
