The Sunday School Ministry for 2009-2010 has many exciting and fresh ideas for everyone, both youth and adult, that join praise to God, love of Christ, Biblical knowledge, and family fun through fellowship. Sunday School is from 9:00-10:00 am on Sunday mornings for all age groups during the school year. A summer class for adults and one for youth and young adults is offered at 9:00 am throughout the summer. We hope that you will join us.

Adult Sunday School
Don Baker leads the adult Sunday School class at 9:00am using “The Present Word” curriculum. The three units in the Fall quarter focus on God’s covenant as made manifested in communities. The lessons consider the persons God chose to be covenant leaders, the invitations God offered to enter into community, the people’s responses to the invitations and the nature of God’s new covenant community. The class is open to all adults and meets in room #100. |
Nursery CareThe Nursery is available for Infants and children through two years of age. The Nursery is professionally staffed and provided during both the 9:00 am and 10:30 am worship services and Sunday school. |
Sunday School For 5th-8th Grade
Youth in grades 5-8 meet in room #205 to explore the Bible and what it means for them today. Al and Lois Hultgren and Cindy Shipley teach the class using FAQ: Faithfully Asking Questions, part of the We Believe! series. This new quarterly curriculum for fall, winter, and spring connects faith questions collected from Presbyterian youth with questions from The Study Catechism: Confirmation Version. Young people will bring their questions to the Bible and learn to navigate Scripture as they address issues of life and faith. |
