Spaghetti Supper and Children's Concert

Friday, February 24 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

The Spaghetti Supper & Children's Concert is a family even that will feature a spaghetti supper, an interactive children's concert featuring our own Aaron Ganschow, and a silent auction of baskets donated by our families. Besides being a fun family event, it's also a fundraiser for UPC Discovery. 

Pet Blessing 2011

United Presbyterian Church realizes the important role pets play in people's lives, so we have scheduled a special service to honor and celebrate all creatures of God’s creation and the special relationships we share with them. A blessing of animals witnesses to the world God’s love and the Church’s concern for creation. As we recognize our mutual interdependence with God’s creatures, the Church’s witness of stewardship is strengthened.

Due to rain The Blessing of the Animals is rescheduled for Sunday, October 2nd at 4:00 PM at the lower Bradley Dog Park. The service will feature a short liturgy and a brief message followed by the pastors blessing each animal.  Everyone will also receive a special dog or cat treat bag.

All animals are welcome, provided they are under physical control (leash, harness, bridle, or crate) and are safe to be around others. If your pet is unable to be present, and article representing them (picture, collar, toy, halter, etc.) will be blessed on their behalf.

Free will donations will go to support Peoria Foster Pet Outreach and TAPS Animal Shelter. Representatives and animals from each organization will be there.
